Client YLD
Timeline May 2022 – Aug 2024

Two years at YLD meant four different industries, four different codebases, and four different sets of constraints. Each project required ramping up quickly in an unfamiliar domain and contributing production-quality work alongside existing teams.

Projects

Ledger (Crypto/Finance)

Worked on cryptocurrency wallet infrastructure across React Native mobile clients and Node.js backend services. Helped maintain and extend systems handling real transactions at scale.

Fidel API (Finance)

Contributed to PCI-compliant payment card linking and transaction data pipelines. Security and compliance shaped every decision — it was a good lesson in building with constraints.

Zoa / Bulb (Energy)

Helped develop customer-facing energy management applications. Worked with Kubernetes and Terraform to keep the platform reliable during peak demand.

Candy (Crypto Marketplace)

Contributed Web3 features to an NFT marketplace, helping integrate blockchain interactions into a conventional web stack.

Key Contributions

  • PCI Compliance — helped implement secure transaction handling for Fidel API
  • Cloud infrastructure — worked with Kubernetes, Docker, and serverless across AWS and GCP
  • Cross-industry adaptability — ramped up in energy, fintech, crypto, and NFT domains, contributing production code in each
  • Web3 integration — helped bring blockchain and smart contract interactions into existing web architectures

Technical Stack

  • Languages: TypeScript, Python, Golang
  • Frontend: React, React Native, Next.js
  • Backend: Node.js
  • Cloud: AWS, GCP
  • Infrastructure: Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Serverless
  • Databases: PostgreSQL, MySQL
